Report for the week of Nov. 18 - 24 KEEPER STRIPERS IN THE RIPS Steve Eakins of Telford, PA., and Jack Hirschmann also of Telford, PA., both took Pools aboard the SEA STAR III this week with MONSTER STRIPERS!The trips earlier in the week produced more short fish in the Bay, an attempt to find bigger fish in the ocean only fed the sharks, and FINALLY the RIPS gave the SEA STAR III what we were looking for.
The SEA STAR III had Stripers each time we sailed this week, but they were all short again. A 21 Fluke Lost in the Bay (Released) GET TO THE SEA STAR III This Could be YOU!!!
Report for the week of Oct. 21 - 27. One positive note, the water temperature has fallen to 58 degrees in the RIPS and there has been some unconfirmed reports of a few Stripers taken by private and small charter boats in the past couple of days.
Bill Canavan of Lafayette, PA., Bob Schwenk of Norristown, PA.,Bob Miller of Phila, PA., Angela Chiarulli of Rio Grande, NJ., andGreg Urban of Atco, NJ., all Took Pools aboard the SEA STAR III this week. The SEA STAR III will continue to Bottom Fish until October 14th when Sea Bass season AGAIN Closes.
Bob and John finished out our Fluke season with a 4lb Fluke and a 4. 75 lb Fluke. Tom and Tony took their pools with a 2. 5lb Sea Bass opening day , and a 3. 5lb Triggerfish.
